Newsletter November 15-19

Mrs. Dunsieth’s Newsletter

Week of November 15th-19th 2010

In Science this week…

We will be finishing Chapter 4 this week. We will have a test on Lessons 6,7, and 8 Thursday, November 18th. Students should have thourough notes and packets to study from. They should do well if they have paid attention in class and took good notes.

In Bible this week…

We will be studying Unit 5 this week. This unit is about Moses and his journey from Slavery to Covenant. This week’s Bible verse is Psalm 106:1. This verse is about being thankful for God. Along with memorizing this verse, students will write about at least 5 things to which they are thankful for.

Christmas Families

I am so excited about our Christmas famlies we are adopting this year! Christmas is about God giving His most precious gift to us. I believe God wants this time of year to be a time of giving—especially to those in need. Each homeroom class has adopted a needy family for Christmas. We will be shopping for those famillies December 3rd. Please send back the form as well as $20 by this Friday. Thank you so much for helping make this family’s Christmas a time of hope and happiness!

Field Trip!

*We will be sending out field trip forms after the Thanksgiving Holiday for the field trip to the McWane Center on January the 28th. Cost is $17 per student, free for chaperones. Website: http://www.mcwane.org/education/teachers/challenger

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving break! “Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever!”

--Psalm 106: 1
