A Little About Myself

I graduated top ten of my class from Elmore County High School in 2005. Upon graduating, I enrolled into AUM's Education Program. I have worked with children for as long as I can remember through activities such as the YMCA, TGIF, Vacation Bible School, Children's Church, FCCLA, babysitting, and substituting. I have wanted to be an elementary teacher ever since I was a mere Kindergartner. At AUM, I have had the honor of being inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and the Educational Honor Society of Kappa Delta Pi. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from AUM with a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education on May 15, 2010.

I have been happily married since November 22, 2008 to my wonderful husband, Wes Dunsieth. Wes is a 7th grade teacher and coach at Prattville Jr. High. We have a black and tan chihuahua named Pistol Pete, a calico kitten named Sadie Pebbles, and a calico cat named Lucky. We have been living in Millbrook since February 2010.
