We will be reviewing for the SAT Monday and Tuesday.
SATs will be March 30th and 31st, April 1st, 5th, and 6th...(NO bags and NO phones on campus those days)
SAT SURVIVOR:
- Get Plenty of Rest!-- Go to bed earlier than your normal time. Your brain works better when it has had the proper rest.
- Eat a Good Breakfast!--Food gives your brain energy to do your best on the test!
- Bring a Healthy Snack--Sugary snacks may make you hyper for a little bit, but you will then crash causing your brain to not function as well. Snacks will not be ordered from the lunchroom so be sure and bring your own healthy snack!
- Finish as Many Questions as You Can!--It is in your best interest to finish as many questions as you can. It's always good to skip questions that are taking you a lot of time and come back to them later. If you finish early, CHECK YOUR ANSWERS!
- Read Questions First!--Especially in the Reading section, it's a good idea to read the questions before you read the passage so that you know what you are looking for in the passage.
- Read Questions CAREFULLY!--Don't make the mistake of rushing through and answering a question the wrong way.
- Be On Time!--Wake up a little earlier. Set out your clothes, snack, etc. at night so you won't be rushing in the morning. The test will start on time and if you come late, you will not be allowed to enter the classroom.
- Don't Stress!--It's very easy to stress yourself out to the point that you perform less than you normally would on a test. Just be confident, take your time, and don't stress out!
Remember “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” Colossians 3:23
