In Science this week…
We are starting a new Chapter in Science this week—Chapter 8. This chapter is “How Earth Changes Over Time”. This chapter covers glaciers, formation of mountains, plateaus and canyons, soil, erosion, rock types, fossils, and a little bit about dinosaurs. Last week, students brought in books, pictures, and lava rocks to share with the class. It was a lot of fun! I encourage students to do this as it adds to the lesson!
In Bible this week…
We are continuing our Bible study on the book of John. Students need to be able to thoroughly explain John 4:13-14 on Thursday March 3rd.
Science Fair
A HUGE “Thank You” to all parents and students for surviving the Science Fair! We’ve learned a lot together! Things were a little bumpy this year, but I am confident that by next year, we will have learned enough to smooth out those bumps! You live and you learn, right? J Thank you for hanging in there through this year as we tried a new way to do the Science Fair. All students did a great job!
A big congratulations to Julie Bell Taylor who made 1st place in district for the 6th grade! She will be competing at state this Thursday. GOOD LUCK!
