Week of January 18th-21ST, 2011
In Science this week…
We will be finishing our hypotheses this week. We decided to push that back some because some students did not have enough research to determine a hypothesis. We will hopefully finish all hypotheses on Tuesday. Other than that, we are running right on schedule.
NOTE: *Some students who are growing mold, spores, etc. may need to start their experiments before the other students. Please use your discretion in this.
We will continue Chapter 6 in Science this week and will most likely test on this chapter next week.
In Bible this week…
We will continue Unit 6 this week in Bible. This unit continues with the story of Moses and the promised land. Instead of a memory verse, I will be grading Unit 6 workbook pages. I will announce the date for this soon. We do mostly all workbook pages in class so it will be nothing new for your students.
McWane Center Field Trip—January 28th
Field trip forms and money were due Friday January 14th. If for some reason, you were unable to send this with your child last week, p lease send it in ASAP.
*I have enough chaperones to ride the bus already. If you wish to come and do not have a spot on the bus, you may follow us in your own vehicle. Students may NOT ride any other vehicle than the bus. That is per Mr. Mitchell. We are all looking forward to this field trip!
