Newsletter December 13-17

Mrs. Dunsieth’s Newsletter

Week of December 13th- 17th 2010

In Science this week…

We will have our Chapter 5 test on Tuesday, the 14th. Students should have notes and packets to study from. I also have some really good study hints in the post below this one! This was a quick chapter and students should do fine on the test if they have taken notes and paid attention in class. Students should also be keeping up with the moon phases in their Science Notebooks. They should have 7 entries (Dec. 8-14th). Science Notebooks are due for a grade on the 15th. Also, students need to bring back the Science Fair formed signed by you by Tuesday (14th).

In Bible this week…

We will be finishing Unit 5 this week. Unit 5 Bible Workbook pages (79-112) will be due on or before Friday (17th) for a grade.

Christmas Around the World

We are all very excited about Christmas Around the World this coming week! I have Mrs. Dorsey scheduled to help Wednesday (10:00-2:20) but I need another parent volunteer to walk around with the children on Thursday (8:30-2:40). It is fine if two parents can help Wednesday and Thursday. Please e-mail me if you are available.

Supplies Needed:

It is the middle of the school year now and some of our supplies are either out or running out. Our Classroom Needs: Lysol Wipes (generic is fine), baby wipes, and paper towels. Thanks!

Merry Christmas!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! Remember the season is all about God sending His most precious gift to us—Jesus! Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in the commercialized “Christmas”! I hope everyone has a wonderful, restful break!

Love, Mrs. Dunsieth
