Week of October 25^th-29^th 2010

In Science this week…

We will finish chapter 4 Lesson 5 this week. Because this chapter is so long and has so much important information, I have decided to split it up into the Lessons. The first Lesson (Lesson 5) will be tested on November 1^st, 2010. Students have very throurough notes we have taken in class which is basically a study guide for them. They also have a packet and some assignments which they can also study.

In Bible this week…

We will be continuing Unit 4. This unit is a long unit. We will probably be testing on this Unit the second week of November. We will continue to talk about the Patriarchs. This week we will have another explaination of verses. The verses are Ephesians 2:4-10. The explanation is due in-class October 29^th.

I realize that the rotation calls for this week’s verses to be memory, but I thought these verses were so imporant to fully understand so I am making it an explaination again. Next week, they will have a regular memory verse.

Red Ribbon Week of Service!

Mrs. Fleming has done an outstanding job organizing next week which is our Red Ribbon week. She has listed all of the days including what to wear on the website. All money collected needs to be brought each day. Students will not be able to bring in one lump sum for the entire week as this is hard to keep up with. Thank you so much for your cooperation in making this Red Ribbon Week a week to remember! J

PCA Family Day

We are all looking forward to PCA’s Family Day which is Saturday October 30^th, 2010. Each grade will have a section on the practice field for food and games. There will be a blue grass band—The Kempters (who I recommendedJ) in the morning and Fusion band concert in the afternoon. There will be time to eat and play games between the two band’s performances. Please get with our 6^th Grade Mom, Amanda Hill about the dish you are bringning.
